The Social Empowerment Agency (SEA) has officially been launched, with its first Client Centre opening at Six Roads, St. Philip. The SEA brings together the Child Care Board, National Assistance Board, Welfare Department, National Disabilities Unit, and the Resilience and Reintegration Unit under a single entity to better serve the public. Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley delivered the feature address and Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Kirk Humphrey, also addressed the launch.
